Ramiro Quintana

Ramiro Quintana is an Argentine show jumping who has competed at the highest levels of the sport, including the Olympics, World Equestrian Games, and Pan American Games.

Ramiro was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he developed a deep passion for horses from a young age.

By the age of 19, his riding ability had already attracted attention, and he was offered a position as head rider and trainer at Sag Pond Farm in Sagaponack, New York. In that role, he managed their expansive lesson program and helped develop young sale horses for owner Christian Wolffer.

In 1999, Ramiro began working with Olympic gold-medalist Joe Fargis as an assistant. Under Fargis’s mentorship, he expanded his experience through training and competing at different levels — from young jumpers up to international Grand Prix classes.

He has earned placings in many top Grand Prixs around the world, including the Hampton Classic, American Gold Cup, Hickstead, World Equestrian Festival, Queen Elizabeth Cup, the American Invitational, Lexington KY, Spangenberg, Princeton, Samorin, and Sopot amongst others.

He also represented Argentina in the WEF Nations Cup in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2017.

One of his most significant achievements came at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto, where he rode Whitney to a team silver medal for Argentina.

He went on to compete at the 2016 Rio Olympics, riding Appy Cara, where he placed 40th individually and 10th with the team.

Later, at the 2018 World Equestrian Games in Tryon, he rode Rouge Pierreville, completing his ambition of representing Argentina in all three major show-jumping championships (Pan American Games, Olympics, World Equestrian Games).

Cody Quintana

Cody’s love of riding began as a child during a vacation in Wyoming. After returning home, she pursued that spark by taking lessons with Emerson Burr at the Fairfield County Hunt Club. From her junior years, Cody distinguished herself as a strong competitor: she collected numerous championships at prestigious shows such as Devon and Old Salem, and claimed multiple regional and national year-end titles.

In 2005 she graduated from the Taft School with honors and continued on to Brown Univeristy; graduating in 2009 with a double major of economics and sociology. Whilst at university she also trained in both the jumpers and equitation, riding with Leslie Burr Howard in the junior jumper ring, and Timmy Kees in equitation. Her young rider accomplishments include being both a team and individual silver medalist at Prix des States, winning team gold at North American Young Riders, and winning a young rider Grand Prix at Spruce Meadows.

After college, Cody moved to the Netherlands for about five years, working under Leon Thijssen. It was there that she deepened her passion for developing and producing young horses.

Upon returning to the U.S., she continued that passion for young horses with successes such as to winning the 6-year-old young jumper championship at Hampton Classic (2014) and another 6-year-old young jumper championship in Tryon (2019). She has developed many young horses that have continued to the top of the sport. Such as Imerald Van’t Voorhof, winner of multiple 5* GPs, Kardenta van’t Meerhof, who competed successfully up to the 5* Grand Prix level, Chakito, who competed up to 3* Grand Prix level and Ceitasi, who won multiple 1.50m classes.
